Anna Kendrick’s raunchy experience with Katy Perry has resurfaced amid claims from Ruby Rose that the pop star sexually assaulted her.

Sitting down for an interview with Conan O’Brien on his eponymous talk show back in 2014, Kendrick recounted her “crazy night” at the Grammys.

“Katy Perry finger-banged my cleavage. It was a weird night,” Kendrick said as the audience laughed. “She’s very mature.”

“She just does that?” O’Brien grilled.

“That dress … I was kind of asking for it,” Kendrick responded. “If nobody had done that, I would have been a little bit upset.

“This was an unplanned moment and I want to stay right here … Paint the scene. So you’re standing still and Katy Perry walks by and bloop (points his finger downward),” O’Brien asked. “That’s her thing?”

“I have met her before,” Kendrick replied. “And yeah, she’s like … she’s aggressive. I like it.”

Play VideoRose’s shocking accusations against Perry

The Pitch Perfect star’s interview went viral after Perry denied Ruby Rose’s accusations that she sexually assaulted her nearly two decades ago.

Rose, an Australian actress and model known for roles in Orange Is the New Black and John Wick: Chapter 2, alleged Sunday in a series of social media messages that Perry assaulted her at a Melbourne nightclub.

Replying to a post shared by Complex that showed Perry’s enthusiastic reaction to Justin Bieber’s headlining set at the Coachella music festival, Rose, 40, wrote on Threads, “Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s*** what she thinks.”

A representative for Perry, who attended the concert with her boyfriend Justin Trudeau, quickly shot down the accusations in a statement to Fox News, Variety and PEOPLE that read: “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies.

“Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”

In a follow-up message, Perry took to her Instagram Story sharing an image of her 2013 song By the Grace of God with her 200 million followers and the caption, “I love you.”

“Let the universe call the bluff,” she sings on the song from her fourth studio album, Prism. “Yeah, the truth will set you free.”

The Spice Market’s then-manager also weighed in on the night in question and said he “wasn’t aware of any alleged assault.”

In one Threads post, Rose claimed that Perry, now 41, “saw me ‘resting’ on my best friend’s lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her.”

In another message, Rose said she “kept it a secret” because Perry offered to help her get a visa to live in the United States.

“After it I threw up on her. I told the story publicly but changed it to be a ‘funny little drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it. Later she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I DID tell y’all she wasn’t a good person. Instead I got attacked by… everyone,” Rose wrote.

Rose said she has spent nearly 20 years keeping the alleged assault a secret.

“I was only in my early 20s. I’m now 40. It has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly,” she wrote. “Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes. Thank you for seeing me.”

Elsewhere, Rose challenged Perry to take legal action to combat her claims.

“(Katy) is more than welcome to sue me (she won’t, because it happened, I have photos and it was literally in public and witnessed by multiple people). Plus there is so much more that happened in the years leading up to her silly song she won’t want me discussing. The psychological manipulation was strong with that one,” she wrote.

After Rose filed a police report and would no longer “comment, repost, or talk publicly about any of those cases, or the individuals involved,” authorities confirmed an investigation is underway.

“Melbourne sexual offenses and child abuse investigation team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating (an alleged) historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010,” the Victoria Police said in a statement to Variety.

“Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s CBD. As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”

But footage of Rose praising Perry at the 2012 premiere of her movie, Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D, has also resurfaced calling into question her claims.

“I’m so excited, I love Katy to bits,” a beaming Rose said on the red carpet. “I was just with her at the hotel and she’s getting dressed up … It’s like, I get to see the real Katy and then I get to come watch the film.”

Back in 2019, in a now-deleted Instagram post, Rose also admitted she “struggled with mental health my entire life.”

“I was first diagnosed with depression at 13, then major depressive disorder at 16. When I was 18 I found out I had dissociative amnesia,” Rose wrote, according to Page Six.

Rose also said she experienced multiple hospitalizations due to her mental health.
