Police asking for the public’s help to locate a 35-year-old woman last seen in south Etobicoke more than three weeks ago.
Toronto police have released several images of the woman, identified as Danielle, who was reported missing by her family.
Danielle was last seen on March 20 at about 7:30 p.m. in the area of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Albert Avenue.
Toronto police Insp. Dan Pravica, told reporters it is unusual for Danielle to have gone so long without speaking to her family and friends.
“The fact that no one has seen or spoken to Danielle is very out of character for her,” Pravica said. “No one has seen or heard from her, which has caused some concern for her family and as well as us.”
Pravica said police have canvassed all video in the area where she was last seen and are now asking members of the public for tips and security camera footage.
Missing woman has several tattoos, police say
Danielle is described as five foot three, with a thin build, about 115 pounds with long hair past her shoulders with purple dye in it.
She has several tattoos, including a flower on her left wrist, the word “trouble” on her left forearm, wings on her neck, a semicolon on her left inner wrist, a sparrow bird on her right foot, and the word “Queen” on her right forearm.
Danielle was last seen wearing a knee-length black winter jacket with a hood with dark brown fur around the rim, black pants, and black running shoes with white laces, white stripes and white soles.
She was also carrying a black backpack with a white or shiny vertical stripe down the middle.
Pravica said police are concerned that there has been no bank activity in Danielle’s accounts, but said there is no indication of foul play.
