Two compelling MMA matchups have been added to ONE Fight Night 43: Tang vs. Gasanov on Friday, May 15, broadcasting live in U.S. primetime from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. Alibeg Rasulov meets Lucas Gabriel at lightweight, while former ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Yosuke Saruta faces Fabio Henrique at strawweight.

Rasulov arrives at this crossroads carrying the weight of his first career defeat. The Turkish fighter built a 14-0 record that earned him back-to-back shots at ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Christian Lee — first a no-contest after an accidental eye poke, then a TKO loss in their November 2025 rematch. Before that setback, Rasulov had announced himself as one of the division’s most dangerous fighters with a dominant decision over former champion Ok Rae Yoon on his ONE debut.

Gabriel provides a stiff test on the road back. The 26-year-old Brazilian brings an 11-1 record and four consecutive ONE victories, most recently defeating Magomed Akaev in February. His perfect promotional record gives him every reason to believe he can further complicate Rasulov’s path back to title contention.

Saruta and Henrique square off at strawweight

The strawweight MMA bout between Yosuke Saruta and Fabio Henrique is a meeting of two fighters with something to prove. Saruta, 38, remains one of the most decorated names in the division’s history.

The Tokyo native dethroned Joshua Pacio to claim the ONE Strawweight MMA World Title in January 2019. He etched his name into Japanese martial arts history. He lost the belt in his first defense and has dropped three straight decisions since. Most recently he lost to Keito Yamakita by split decision at ONE Fight Night 24.

Henrique, 34, is equally motivated after suffering a defeat in his promotional debut against Lee Seung Cheol at ONE Fight Night 41 in March. The Brazilian arrives hungry to rebound and establish himself in the division’s upper tier.
