This will be the fourth time the legendary forwards will play against each other in the NBA Playoffs. The first three were in the NBA Finals, but this time, it comes a bit early, in a first-round series between the fourth and fifth seeds.

LeBron James knows the Kevin Durant-led Rockets will be a problem

With names like Amen Thompson and Alperen Sengun, the Rockets have every tool in the box to beat the Lakers. Considering the Lakers are short-handed without Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, that puts more responsibility on LeBron’s shoulders.

“You know, the Houston Rockets got some damn good players on their team. So, not just a KD team, it’s a whole group. Obviously, as I said, KD is going to do what KD does. He’s a Hall of Famer, we know that. So, we have to prepare not only for him, but also for the whole group,” James said about the postseason matchup against a talented Rockets team.

The Rockets will be a tough team to beat, but they are not impossible to defeat. LeBron can turn back the clock, but this is looking unlikely to happen because the Rockets might overwhelm him and the shorthanded Lakers in the series.
