Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fans can finally step into the shoes of one of the best versions of one of the most powerful Hashira.
Per a press release, the new trailer for the English dubbed version of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Hinokami Chronicles 2 has now been released, giving fans a first look at Infinity Castle Shinobu Kocho, who is now available as part of the Infinity Castle Arc Chapter 1 Character Pass. The Infinity Castle Shinobu Kocho will be added to the game on Friday, April 17, and boasts some truly blistering attacks and abilities, as seen below.

Although she was glimpsed early on in Tanjiro Kamado’s original Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga, it wasn’t until Chapter 28, “Urgent Summons,” that Shinobu made her proper debut. The younger sister of the former Flower Hashira Kanae Kocho and the adoptive older sister of Kanao Tsuyuri, Shinobu is by far one of the most storied figures in the entire series.
Apart from her incredible fighting prowess, keen intellect, and all the advantages afforded to Shinobu thanks to her Insect Breathing style, the Hashira herself is quite literally poison. After years of slow exposure to a concentrated wisteria-based poison, Shinobu herself became a living toxin — one capable of felling even the mightiest and most dreadful of foes.
Developed by CyberConnect2 and released globally by SEGA, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Hinokami Chronicles 2 was released in August 2025 and dropped players back into the role of Tanjiro Kamado. The action-adventure title follows in the footsteps of the original Hinokami Chronicles, which was released in 2021 and adapted roughly the first half of the hit series.
The Hinokami Chronicles 2 lets players relive key storylines from the anime, including the Entertainment District Arc, the Swordsmith Village Arc and the Hashira Training Arc. Apart from the single-player story mode, the game also lets players confront one another via PvP arena battle modes.
Since its release, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Hinokami Chronicles 2 has been met with generally favorable reviews from both critics and gamers. As of writing, the title boasts a 76/100 critical approval rating via review aggregator Metacritic, as well as a 6.9/10 user-generated rating on the platform.
Currently, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fans are eagerly awaiting the release of what will be the final two anime entries in the series. These will come in the form of the feature film follow-ups to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — Infinity Castle, which took over the box office last year, breaking multiple records and amassing more than $781 million globally.
