Selkirk RCMP have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 68-year-old woman, last seen Thursday night in the Selkirk area.
Police say Cynthia Jacobucci was reported missing on April 17 at approximately 12:20 p.m., after family members had not heard from her in more than 24 hours.
Jacobucci was last seen in Selkirk on Thursday evening.
Investigators believe she may have left her home in the Petersfield area before an overnight storm, as her vehicle is not in the driveway and there are no visible tire tracks. Her dog is also missing from the residence.
RCMP say Jacobucci has dementia and may be disoriented. She also missed a scheduled medical appointment in Stonewall on Friday afternoon, heightening concerns for her wellbeing.
She is described as approximately 5’2” tall, with short grey hair and blue eyes.
She may be driving a 2016 Jeep Patriot with Manitoba licence plate LCP 541.
Police, along with her family, are asking the public for help in locating her.
