Saturday’s forecast calls for showers and a risk of thunderstorms in the Greater Toronto Area and across southern Ontario.
Environment Canada says the morning will be cloudy with showers in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.
Fog patches are possible, clearing in the morning. Wind gusts could hit between 40 km/h to 60 km/h, the weather agency says.
There’s a risk of thunderstorms in the late morning and early afternoon with between 10 mm to 15 mm of rainfall possible.
The high will be around 20 C in Mississauga, but could feel more like 25 C due to the humidity.
Saturday evening could bring more showers with a 70 per cent chance in Mississauga overnight.
Winds could gust up to 40 km/h in Mississauga in the evening with a low of 3 C.
Looking ahead to Sunday, conditions are expected to be a mix of sun and clouds with a 30 per cent chance of rain or flurries throughout the day in Mississauga. The high will be around 6 C, while the low will be around -5 C.
