ROAD CLOSURE: 2-vehicle crash sends 1 person to hospital in Mississauga

A two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in Mississauga on Sunday afternoon has led to road closures.

Peel Regional Police said in a social media post that the collision happened at Argentia Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard. 

Both drivers remained at the scene.

One woman was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

As of 5:30 p.m., road closures remain in place, with southbound traffic on Winston Churchill Boulevard being diverted westbound onto Argentia Road.

Police are advising motorists to use alternative routes for the time being.
