Transit riders along St Clair had to make use of shuttle busses for a fourth day Sunday as the line remains out of service because of a watermain break.
The TTC said Wednesday night that streetcars were not operating along the line because of the issue.
In a notice on its website Sunday, the transit agency said the problem is ongoing.
“Shuttle buses are running between Gunns Loop at St Clair Ave West and St Clair Station at Bay 2,” the notice read.
There was no timeline given for a fix.
One rider who uses the line took to Twitter this week, calling the replacement buses “a disaster,” with large crowds and long waits on the sidewalk. Another said it was difficult to find information about the problem at all.
The route is part of the TTC’s “10-minute network,” with service expected to be “10 minutes or better, all day.”
The latest numbers indicate overall satisfaction with the city’s streetcar service is down 16 points year-over-year, sitting at 62 per cent as of February.
The TTC did not respond to an email seeking an update Sunday.
