A man has serious injuries after motorcycle crashed into a tree in northwest Calgary on Monday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection Valley Springs Road and Valley Brook Circle NW, in the community of Valley Ridge, around 2:30 p.m. for reports of a crash involving a motorcycle.
Calgary police say a motorcycle hit a tree.
One man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The intersection is closed for the investigation. Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
