The Montreal Canadiens are looking to take home a 2-0 series lead after a thrilling Game 1. CityNews will have coverage of Game 2 against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Tampa Bay Lightning opened the scoring in Game 2 off a goal from Brandon Hagel. The goal came just before the halfway point of the first period, after heavy pressure in the Canadiens end, and Hagel was able to fire a slapshot past Jakub Dobes.

Late in the first period on a power play — that occurred following a line brawl — Lane Hutson fired a shot from the blueline, beating Andrei Vasilevskiy, making the game 1-1.

More to come.
