A vehicle transport truck was spotted in the ditch just before 8 a.m. Wednesday morning, along the westbound lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway near Elie.
Two tow trucks were on scene working to pull the transport truck out of the ditch.
Traffic in the area was still able to get by, though it was moving slowly as crews worked alongside the roadway.
The westbound lanes were partially affected, but vehicles were continuing to pass the scene with caution.
