The MLB World Tour refers to all of MLB’s games, both within the regular season schedule as well as spring training exhibition games, played outside the United States and Canada. The games have been branded as such since 2023.
Since that season, the MLB World Tour has visited Mexico City; London, Great Britain; Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; Seoul, Republic of Korea; and Tokyo, Japan.
How many MLB games have been held in Mexico City?
MLB has played regular-season games in Mexico since 1996, but did not visit Mexico City for a regular-season game until 2023. Four regular-season and 10 exhibition games have been held in Mexico City. Elsewhere in Mexico, Monterrey, Hermosillo, and Culiacán have all hosted MLB exhibition or regular-season games too.
