Laura Rogora is back at it with her ridiculously quick ascents of hard rock climbs. For the 24-year-old Italian climber, climbing 5.14d in three attempts and onsighting 5.13d/5.14a is just another day out.

“Back on rock after a while and it feels GOOD,” said Rogora on Instagram. “Yesterday I jumped on [Gabriele Moroni’s] new gem Mascella Serrata [5.14d] — sent it third go! Topped it off with a stunning [5.13d/5.14a] onsight.”

Mascella Serrata is a new route in Arco, Italy. Moroni made the first ascent in February 2026. That same month, Stefano Ghisolfi ditched his crash pads, dusted off his rope and sent the route in three goes. It was surprisingly Ghisolfi’s first time sending 5.14d in a day. As for Rogora, she has climbed at least five 5.14d’s in two goes.

Laura Rogora is one of the best climbers ever on rock. She has now ascended 43 climbs graded 5.14d or harder – few climbers can even come close to this high volume of sends. She is an extremely talented onsight climber – last year alone, she was onsighted four 5.14b and two 5.14c climbs. Her onsight of Ultimate Sacrifice 5.14c in Gorges du Loup, France made her the first woman in history to onsight the grade 5.14c.

In February, she got on Adam Ondra’s Niobe 5.14d – the slab route, a little out of her wheelhouse, as she said the hardest slab she had ever been on prior to Niobe was 5.11d. Though it wasn’t particularly her style, she was able to get the FFA in only four attempts.

In November 2025, she made history again with her onsight of La Ligne Claire in Saint Léger, France. To this day, only a handful of climbers have onsighted 5.14c. Rogora’s onsight of La Ligne Claire made her the third climber ever to have two or more onsights of 5.14c or higher. The other two climbers able to make this claim are Adam Ondra and Alex Megos. Later that day, after her onsight of La Ligne Claire, she also onsighted the first pitch of La Tournée du Patron 5.14a, climbed the 5.14b extension on her second go, and onsighted Abrège Nief 5.13d.
