Calgary police have charged a second man in relation to a fatal assault last month in the southeast community of Ogden.
According to police, the suspect was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder and was located in Langley, B.C.
He was arrested by RCMP after attempting to flee from officers, police said in a news release.
Tethloach Wawu, 24, is charged with one count of second-degree murder. He is set to appear in court on Monday.
Police previously charged 22-year-old Wedial Buom Met with one count of second-degree murder in relation to the incident.
Officers were called to a home in the 2300 block of Crestwood Road S.E. around 9 p.m. on March 25 for reports of a physical altercation in progress.
Upon arrival, police located a man in his 20s suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital where he later died.
The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
Officers later executed search warrants in the 0 to 100 block of Citadel Estates Terrace N.W., police said, leading to one man facing a criminal charges.
The incident is believed to be a domestic in nature and there is no threat to public safety, police said.
