The 2026 NASCAR Cup Series is graduating to the big leagues this weekend — drivers are heading to Talladega for the Jack Link’s 500.

Talladega Superspeedway is known as one of the most iconic tracks on the circuit, and for good reason. The tri-oval is the largest in the Cup Series, measuring 2.66 miles long and with 33 degree banking in the turns. This weekend’s race will be a departure from the many short tracks and intermediate ovals we’ve seen this season.
Tyler Reddick took the checkered flag last weekend in Kansas City, marking the first time a driver has won five out of nine races in the Cup Series since Dale Earnhardt in 1987.
