Taylor still has not released the Taylor’s Version recordings of Reputation or her debut self-titled album.
There have been rumors that Taylor will plan a “debutation” launch, releasing both of the albums at the same time.
After Taylor bought back the masters for her first six albums, she told fans that she was unsure about re-recording these final two albums, but said she was still open to it if fans wanted them. And… they do.
Is Taylor finally going to finish them and release them? Or maybe just drop the vault tracks?
Making her movie for Searchlight Pictures
It was announced in December 2022 that Taylor will be making her feature film directorial debut with Searchlight Pictures.
Taylor has written an original script that she is directing. Nothing is known yet about the plot or who will star in the film. While there were recently rumors that she brought on a co-writer, those were debunked.
“Taylor is a once in a generation artist and storyteller. It is a genuine joy and privilege to collaborate with her as she embarks on this exciting and new creative journey,” said Searchlight presidents David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield.
