Hollywood icon Charlize Theron has named her celebrity crush. However, she couldn’t help but feel “old” upon revealing the name.

Theron’s newest movie role is Apex, the survival thriller that just premiered on Netflix. To promote the film’s release, Theron recently appeared in a video with co-star Taron Egerton where the two actors asked each other various questions. Egerton asked Theron to reveal her celebrity crush after revealing his own as The Mummy star Rachel Weisz. For her part, Theron picked MacGyver star Richard Dean Anderson, one of the most recognizable TV actors of the 1980s.

“This is how old I am,” Theron said. “Mine’s Richard Dean Anderson. Who knows who that is?”

When Egerton admitted he had no idea who that was, Theron added, “Right, nobody [knows who Anderson is]. I’m a f**king dinosaur.”

Anderson got his start playing Jeff Webber on General Hospital in the 1970s, though he rose to prominence with his role as the titular lead on MacGyver, the action-adventure series that ran on ABC for seven seasons between 1985 and 1992. In 1997, he picked up another iconic TV role as General Jack O’Neill on Stargate SG-1, taking over the role from Kurt Russell from the Stargate feature film. He later appeared as O’Neill in the spinoffs Stargate: Atlantis and Stargate: Universe, as well as the 2008 tie-in film Stargate: Continuum.

Additionally, Anderson starred on the TV shows Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Emerald Point N.A.S. He played MacGyver on Saturday Night Live in 2009, and also made guest appearances on other shows including The Simpsons, Raising Hope, and Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23. Anderson’s film credits include Odd Jobs, Beyond Betrayal, and Firehouse, and he also starred in two MacGyver TV movies in the 1990s.

Charlize Theron Stars in Apex

As for Theron, she has another major role coming up after co-starring in Apex with Egerton. She’s one of the stars of The Odyssey, the new movie from Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan, which hits theaters in July. Theron’s other recent film roles include The School for Good and Evil, Fast X, and The Old Guard 2. She memorably played herself in Apple TV’s The Studio last year, though it’s unclear if she will also make an appearance in the upcoming second season.

In Apex, Theron plays a rock climber fighting for survival as she’s being pursued by a murderous hunter in the wild. Baltasar Kormakur directed the film, which was written by Jeremy Robbins. Egerton plays the hunter, while Eric Bana also appears in the movie as Theron’s husband. The harrowing film was released on Netflix on Apr. 24 and is currently ranked as the No. 1 film globally on the platform.

Apex is now streaming on Netflix.
