The Dallas Mavericks and their star rookie, Cooper Flagg, could be celebrating Monday if he’s named the league’s Rookie of the Year.

Flagg was busy on the court during his first season with the Mavs. The 19-year-old rookie scored 1,473 total points during the regular season, including knocking down 96 points over a two-game span.

If Flagg wins the award, he will make history by becoming the third Mav to win the Rookie of the Year, just behind his coach, Jason Kidd and Luka Doncic.

Flagg is in competition with Charlotte Hornets guard Kon Knueppel.
