Inclusion Moose Jaw is inviting the community to come together this summer for a day of golf, music, and connection at its 3rd Annual Golf for a Purpose Tournament, happening June 12 at The Ridge Golf Course.
The event tees off at 1 p.m. and brings together golfers, local businesses, and families to support inclusive programs in Moose Jaw.
“We’ve always wanted this tournament to feel fun and welcoming — not just a fundraiser, but a community get‑together,” said Kim Churko, a board member with Inclusion Moose Jaw.
Why It Matters
All funds raised go directly toward Inclusion Moose Jaw’s programs for children and youth aged 3 to 22, supporting participants of all abilities.
“Our programs build friendships, confidence, and independence in a safe and supportive space,” said Laurie Bender, executive director of Inclusion Moose Jaw. “This tournament helps us keep those opportunities available throughout the year.”

Presented by Rosemont Hardware, the 18‑hole scramble includes meals, prizes, and live music following the round.
Golfers will also have a shot at a $20,000 hole‑in‑one prize on hole 13, sponsored by Macaulay Agencies.
“We see people networking, laughing, and just enjoying being together,” Churko said. “We also have self‑advocates golfing alongside everyone else, which is exactly what Inclusion is all about.”
Get Involved
Registration is $99 per golfer or $350 for a team of four, and Inclusion Moose Jaw is also welcoming community sponsors, including hole sponsors, cart sponsors, and prize donations.

“We just want people to come out, have a great time, and help us continue building a more inclusive Moose Jaw,” Bender said.
