HAMLIN AT TEXAS: Denny Hamlin is a three-time NASCAR Cup Series winner at Texas Motor Speedway with victories in April 2010, November 2010, and March 2019. In 35 career starts at the track, Hamlin has recorded eight top-five finishes, 16 top-10s, and 330 laps led. While he hasn’t won a pole award at Texas, Hamlin has started 11th or better in 12 consecutive races at the 1.5-mile quad-oval.

TALLADEGA RECAP: Hamlin finished 15th in last weekend’s race at Talladega Superspeedway. After starting third, he led 28 laps during stage one. On his first green-flag pit stop, Hamlin was penalized for speeding on pit road. He fell a lap down after serving his penalty and spent the rest of the day trying to rejoin the lead lap. Hamlin finally earned the free pass before a restart with three laps remaining. He moved from 21st to 15th in the closing laps to secure his ninth consecutive top-15 result.

CHRIS GAYLE: Crew chief Chris Gayle has enjoyed success at Texas Motor Speedway. In 11 Cup Series starts at Texas, Gayle’s teams have posted three top-five finishes, six top-10s, and 118 laps led. In the O’Reilly Series, his teams have earned three wins, four top-five finishes, nine top-10s, one pole award, and 345 laps led.

BRISCOE AT TEXAS: Chase Briscoe has five NASCAR Cup Series starts at Texas Motor Speedway with one top-five finish and three top-10s. He also made five NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series starts and two NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series starts with two top-five finishes in each series.

TALLADEGA RECAP: Briscoe finished 29th in last weekend’s race at Talladega Superspeedway. He was running inside the top five before a pit road penalty put Briscoe a lap down during the first stage. During stage two, Briscoe was collected in a multi-car accident. The team was forced to go behind the wall to make repairs and Briscoe ultimately finished the race 29th.

BELL AT TEXAS: This weekend, Christopher Bell heads to his home track of Texas Motor Speedway looking for his first win of the season. In seven Cup Series starts at the 1.5-mile track, Bell has earned three top-five finishes and four top-10s. He first found his way to victory lane at Texas in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series in 2017 and then again in 2019 in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.

HOME TRACK: Bell is originally from Norman, Oklahoma, which is just over two hours away from Texas Motor Speedway. Growing up, Bell and his family attended race weekends at the 1.5-mile track.

ADAM STEVENS: Crew chief Adam Stevens has an impressive resume at Texas Motor Speedway. In 17 Cup Series starts at the track, Stevens has led his teams to three wins, eight top-five finishes, 11 top-10s, and 346 laps led. Before moving to the Cup Series, Stevens led his O’Reilly Series teams to two wins, four top-five finishes, six top-10s, and 249 laps led at Texas.

TALLADEGA RECAP: Bell had a strong run going at Talladega Superspeedway until contact coming to the checkered flag halted his momentum. On the day, he led a race-high 31 laps and earned valuable stage points by finishing second in stage two. Unfortunately for the No. 20 team, Bell was collected in a multi-car accident on the final lap, resulting in a 17th-place finish.

RHEEM GUESTS AT TEXAS: Rheem will host more than 150 guests this weekend in Texas. Executives will be on site from the Rheem Operations team, along with guests from supplier Chemours and key customers from the commercial and residential water heater division. No. 54 Interstate Batteries Toyota Camry XSE

GIBBS AT TEXAS: Ty Gibbs’ best finish in four NASCAR Cup Series starts at Texas Motor Speedway is a 13th-place result in April 2024. Gibbs has proven to be quick at the 1.5-mile facility by qualifying inside the top six in each of his last three starts. He also finished 12th and third in a pair of NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series starts at Texas.

TALLADEGA RECAP: Gibbs started ninth and led 17 laps at Talladega Superspeedway before an incident on lap 122 ended his day early with a 34th-place result.

TYLER ALLEN: Crew chief Tyler Allen is in his second season atop the pit box for Gibbs and the No. 54 team. Last year, Allen guided the group to five top-five finishes, 10 top-10s, and 304 laps led.
