The final quarter-final of the MMA national mixed martial arts (MMA) national competition “Black Cup” South Korea’s Omega vs Eurasia (Russia + Central Asia) will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 2 at Bucheon Gymnasium in Gyeonggi Province.
The first season of “Black Cup” will be broadcast live only with 674,000 subscribers paid membership of the YouTube channel “Black Kombat.” Black Kombat is a mixed martial arts organization with the sixth-largest player base in Asia and 14th in the world, with 91 people in the “Fight Matrix” world.

“Red Falcon” Ji Hyuk-min (21, Chuncheon Team Mad) and TRG Felipe Pereira (31, Brazil) will play a featherweight (66kg) match as one of the main cards to be held from 6 p.m. on May 2 following the final round of the Black Cup quarterfinals. The two play a key role in the box office through a nose-main event, the second most important match of the tournament.
Ji Hyuk-min passed 66.1kg and Felipe Pereira 65.8kg in the Friday morning of the 1st at the Grand Ballroom of the Koryo Hotel in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do. Excluding the title match, the weight of the day before the black combo featherweight match is allowed up to 66.3kg including measurement errors.

Ji Hyuk-min ranked second in the featherweight world under the age of 20 in the mixed martial arts ranking system “Fight Matrix” on April 27 (Korea Standard Time). He will not turn 21 until July 2026. Even if the scope is expanded to all ages, it is the No. 1 featherweight in Korea.
When Ji Hyuk-min, who met MK Sports at the Korea Hotel, was evaluated as “Korea’s featherweight No. 1,” he said, “I can’t be two steps higher than Sung Hyuk.” It doesn’t make sense to be above ‘Ares’ Kim Tae-kyun (32) and ‘Korean Tiger’ Lee Jung-young (31).

“Seonghyuk’s brother” is Bang Sung-hyuk (25, Chuncheon Team Mad), the 4th Black Combat featherweight champion. Kim Tae-kyun advanced to the semi-finals of the 2025 World Tournament in the mixed martial arts big league PFL. Lee Jung-young is active in UFC with one win and two losses.
Asked by MK Sports if he felt pressured to decorate the Co-main event of the Black Kombat Bucheon Competition as a top feather-class player in Korea, Ji Hyuk-min said, “I’ll just kill Felipe Pereira,” adding, “I’m just going to overwhelm the opponent without complicated thoughts.”

In May 2025, he won the second round TKO against Koji Takeda (31), the 84kg gold medalist in the Greco-Roman wrestling youth division at the Japanese National Sports Festival. In January 2026, even South Korea’s UFC 7th fighter “Korean Bulldozer” Nam Eui-cheol (45, Deep & High Sports) was defeated with a KO in the second round.
With 23,661 spectators watching Saitama Super Arena, the mixed martial arts big league Bellator (USA) and Rizin (Japan) played a 5:5 match in December 2022. Goji Takeda faced Bellator as the vanguard of Raizin.
Ji Hyuk-min defeated this Takeda high ground. “Black Kombat has to choose the referee well. If I don’t dry it properly, I think I can hit more even after I finish it,” he said confidently, saying that the referee will have to intervene quickly because he will KO Felipe Pereira at Bucheon Gymnasium.

“Fight Matrix” gives Ji Hyuk-min 71 points for the featherweight and 60 points for Felipe Pereira. It is calculated that Ji Hyuk-min is 1.18 times and 15.5% ahead of Pereira. However, it is a variable to compete with a South American player for the first time in 1394 days (3 years, 9 months and 24 days) and 8 games since his professional debut.
