Points leader Justin Allgaier starts from the pole on Saturday for the Andy’s Frozen Custard 340 at Texas Motor Speedway

Justin Allgaier, the 2024 champion of what is now the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, races for his fourth win in 12 starts on Saturday after claiming the pole position in qualifying on Friday for the Andy’s Frozen Custard 340 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. Allgaier, the only multiple-race winner on the series thus far this season, already leads the standings by more than 100 points entering the 300-mile race at Texas and starts on the front row inside of Brandon Jones.

Texas Motor Speedway began hosting this race in 2005 at the 1.5-mile asphalt oval which opened in 1996. The 200 laps are broken down into two opening stages of 45 laps each followed by a final stage covering the last 110 laps. Kevin Harvick won the event a record four times, taking three straight from 2005-07 and adding another trip to victory lane in 2012. Kyle Larson, a NASCAR Cup Series regular who is in the field again this year, took the checkered flag after eight laps of overtime in 2025.

Larson and Connor Zilisch start on the second row, with Brent Crews and Corey Day — who picked up his first career series victory last week at Talladega — on Row 3. Austin Hill and Jeremy Clements open the race on the fourth row while Ryan Sieg and Parker Retzlaff round out the top 10 starters.

Allgaier enters Saturday with a 105-point lead over Sheldon Creed in the standings, with defending champion Jesse Love 141 points back. Day stands fourth with a 145-point deficit and Jones comes in 191 points behind.
