Northampton stunned the Pilgrims going 2-0 up after 18 minutes, but goals from Lorent Tolaj and Malachi Boateng levelled things up before half-time.

With Northampton going down to 10-men after Conor McCarthy’s late tackle on Brendan Wiredu, Plymouth completed the comeback through Wiredu.

Northampton finish the season with 11 straight defeats and the foot of the League Two table.
