Police investigating targeted shooting of North Delta business

Police are investigating after a business on the Delta/Surrey border was shot at in the early hours of Saturday morning.
At around 3:41 a.m. on May 2, Delta police responded to a report of shots fired in the 8200-block of 110th Street in North Delta.
Officers arrived on scene, located shell casings, and confirmed several shots had been fired into an unoccupied business, according to a DPD press release.
“While the incident appears to be targeted, police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the shooting, and it is unknown at this time if it is extortion-related,” the release states.
Investigators will be in the area today (Saturday) canvassing for video evidence and speaking with witnesses.
Police seek any information or video footage recorded at or around the time of the incident.
