Pedestrian and 2 others taken to hospital following 2-vehicle crash in Mississauga

Three people were taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Mississauga early Sunday morning.

Peel Regional Police said in a social media post that the collision happened shortly before 7 a.m. near Redfox Road and Reindeer Drive.

Investigators say a female pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local trauma centre, while two males were also taken to hospital, including one with critical injuries. The second man suffered precautionary injuries, police said.

Updates on their conditions were not immediately available.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
