Richmond RCMP say a person “accessed an aircraft without authorization” at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) early Monday morning.
The individual, who police did not share any additional details about, has been arrested and is in police custody, according to a Richmond RCMP statement.
Police said they responded to the airport at about 4 a.m. PT Monday.
“Specialized police resources responded alongside our partners at the airport,” said Cpl. Frank Bryson in the statement.
