The 2026 Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada transforms the city into the centre of the racing world for three days. Montreal will be decked out in the colours of the most celebrated F1 teams as enthusiastic crowds from across the globe cheer on the greatest drivers in the world.

Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, the track on which the motor race is run, is located on Île Notre-Dame at Parc Jean-Drapeau, right in the heart of the majestic Saint Lawrence River.

Formula 1 drivers cover the 4,361 metres of the circuit in under one minute and 15 seconds, with speeds that can reach more than 300 kilometres an hour in the straightaways. Because of its tight 14 turns that put a demand on the brakes of the cars, Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is conducive to a lot of driving errors and overtaking. The Grand Prix du Canada is a thrilling and spectacular race!
