Isle of Mann Property Group has grand plans to transform an industrial area of Newton into a new mixed-use retail development.
An April 30 launch event drew Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke and other guests to the future site of Sector One28, a multi-phase project at 7880 128 St.
Developer Rick Mann envisions “a state-of-the-art retail experience” on the property, where crews will soon tear down an old tire shop and start construction that could take three years to complete.
“This premier commercial centre features sophisticated architecture and a luxurious ambience unlike any other in Newton,” boasts the website sectorone28.com.
“For business owners, Sector One 28’s upscale retail, food & beverage, and office spaces are designed to enhance your brand and entice discerning clientele. The community will enjoy a purpose-built banquet hall designed to host a wide range of events in a convenient and welcoming setting.”
