One person taken to hospital following alleged assault in Surrey home

One person was transported to the hospital in serious condition on Tuesday night (May 5) after an alleged assault at a home in the 15200-block of 96 Avenue.
The suspect fled the scene before the Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) officers responded around 8:24 p.m.
An ambulance with primary care paramedics and an advanced care paramedic response unit attended the scene.
“Paramedics provided emergency medical care and transported one patient to the hospital in serious condition,” said Brian Twaites, BC EHS paramedic public information officer.
