She wasn’t very happy.
Women’s British tennis star Emma Raducanu did some crying of her own on Monday after calling for her match to be halted due to an upset baby in the stands.

While facing off against Aryna Sabalenka in yesterday’s Cincinnati Open, Raducanu stepped off the line in the third set and addressed the tournament’s umpire about the infant’s crying.
“It’s been like 10 minutes,” the 2021 US Open champion said, referring to the child.
“It’s a child,” the umpire replied. “Do you want me to send the child out of the stadium? … I can call in, but we need to continue for the moment.”

Raducanu shrugged and appeared to have support from some members of the crowd. But that support didn’t seem to extend online:
“Tennis players are the real babies,” a user posted.
“she’s just like me fr (hates babies),” another commented.
“Disgraceful behavior from the diva @EmmaRaducanu,” a fan claimed. “You are not [losing] because of a baby crying in the stand, you are losing because you are [worse] than @SabalenkaA.”

“Is [it] the player making more excessive noise than the baby? 😂” another person laughed.
“lol can’t even play ball with some noise,” another user said.
“Get the petulant child out of the stadium…..Emma that is,” a viewer quipped.
“She’s an embarrassment.”

Raducanu went on to hold serve but ultimately fell to her three-time Grand Slam opponent in a thrilling back-and-forth battle.
That wasn’t the story of the match, however, as Emma’s moment of frustration ended up going viral around the internet and potentially cost her some fans.
