TFC face the reigning MLS Cup champions Inter Miami CF for the 13th all-time regular season meeting between the two Eastern Conference clubs. Historically, Toronto holds a 2W-8L-2T record through their first 12 meetings with the Herons. On Saturday, the Reds will look to secure their first home victory over Miami since March 18, 2023, when second-half goals from Canadians Jonathan Osorio and Mark-Anthony Kaye clinched a 2-0 win.
The Reds enter Matchday 12 eager to bounce back and return to winning ways in the ninth and final match of a nine-game MLS home stretch from March 14 to May 9.
After earning results in six of their first seven home matches (2W-1L-4T), TFC played to a 1-1 draw against Western Conference and Supporters’ Shield leaders San Jose Earthquakes (9W-1L-1T, 28 points) on Saturday, May 2. Prior to kick-off, Toronto FC and BMO formally handed the keys of the stadium over to Canada Soccer in a pre-game ceremony featuring Kevin Blue (CEO & General Secretary, Canada Soccer), Catherine Roche (CMO, BMO), Jason Hernandez (TFC General Manager), Jonathan Osorio & Richie Laryea (TFC players) as part of the club’s True North Match celebrations.
