Go By Bike Week rolling out with cycling-centred events hosted by Cycle Chilliwack

Spring Go By Bike Week 2026 is set to roll out in Chilliwack starting with a Celebration Station in Vedder Park on May 30.

“We have all sorts of fun things planned for the Chilliwack cycling community,” said event organizers with Cycle Chilliwack.

Go By Bike, May 30 to June 5, hosted by Cycle Chilliwack is an ode to the joys of cycling, encouraging folks to leave the car at home, and check out the local bike paths.

Cycle Chilliwack partnered with City of Chilliwack to offer the Celebration Station in the main parking lot of Vedder Park on Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a bike maintenance workshop, free snacks to fuel riders, prize draws to enter, and even a basic bike tuneup on offer from a certified bike mechanic.

“It’s a great opportunity to learn more about cycling in Chilliwack and explore the city’s newly improved designated bike routes.”

To encourage residents to hop on their bikes, the city is contributing three $100 gift cards to be won from Jack’s Cycle, Pedal Sport or Vedder Mountain Bike Co.

Cycling Without Age reps will at the May 30 Celebration Station to talk about bringing the joys of cycling to everyone – regardless of age or ability.

“Whether you are commuting to work, enjoying our awesome Vedder Rotary Trail, or out on any of the amazing bike routes we have here in Chilliwack. It all counts, and you can win some amazing prizes.”

Organizers and partners are looking forward to seeing everyone.

“Celebrate cycling, connect with the community, and keep those wheels rolling!”
