Patrick Rabideau-Blackadder has been charged by police.
Peel Regional Police are searching for additional potential victims after a man was arrested in connection with an alleged indecent act involving a child at a Brampton recreation facility.
Police say the incident happened on April 26 at approximately 3:15 p.m. at a recreation centre in the area of Dixie Road and Balmoral Drive.
According to investigators, a child was inside a change room when an unknown man allegedly approached and attempted to lure the child into a stall. The child immediately left the area and returned to a parent.
A short time later, the same suspect was allegedly seen outside the facility exposing himself.
Following an investigation by the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau, police arrested Patrick Rabideau-Blackadder, 40, of Brampton, on May 4.
He has been charged with invitation to sexual touching, criminal harassment, mischief and committing an indecent act.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Investigators believe there could be additional victims and are asking anyone who may have had a similar interaction with the suspect to contact 21 Division CIB at 905-453-2121 ext. 2133.
