Police in Toronto have arrested two more people in connection with the targeted killing of a Brampton man at Woodbine Mall in February.
The latest arrests bring the total number of people charged in the death of 37-year-old Chandan Kumar Raja Nandakumar to four.
Nandakumar was shot and killed on Feb. 7 in the parking lot of the mall near Rexdale Boulevard and Highway 27.
Police say Xzavier Blake, 18, of Toronto, has been charged with first-degree murder.
Also charged is Dyson Taylor, 18, of Brantford, who faces one count of accessory after the fact to murder.
Earlier in the investigation, Thomas Badger, 19, was arrested in Calgary after allegedly fleeing the province while the subject of a Canada-wide warrant.
Badger has also been charged with first-degree murder in the Nandakumar case. In addition, he faces a separate first-degree murder charge in the Jan. 26 shooting death of 65-year-old Sergio Lopes, who was gunned down at a plaza near Rowntree Dairy Road and Winges Road in Vaughan.
Another suspect, Jacob Wallace, 19, of Mississauga, had previously been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with Nandakumar’s killing.
