“There has been increasing interest, particularly from travelers looking for destinations that feel authentic and less crowded,” says Jennifer Martin, an employee at Gem Tours based in Eswatini. “Many international visitors already touring South Africa are discovering Eswatini as an easy and rewarding addition.”
With this, connectivity is also improving, with Eswatini Air contributing to the tourism development by encouraging multi-destination travel across southern Africa. The airline recently launched a new regional route, linking Eswatini with the capital city of Lusaka in Zambia.
