PADUCAH, Ky. — McCracken County tennis took home both the boys and girls 1st Region team titles at Larry J. Heflin Tennis Center Saturday afternoon.
The Mustangs knocked off Paducah Tilghman 4-1, while the Lady Mustangs beat St. Mary 3-2.
Both teams advance to the KHSAA State Tournament, which starts May 28 at the Sayre Athletic Complex. The boys will face the winners from the 11th Region, while the girls will take on the 13th Region champions.
The individual Region Tournament will get underway in Paducah on May 11 at the Larry J. Heflin Tennis Center.
