Gary Windass might be in the frame for most of this week for Theo Silverton’s murder on Coronation Street, but it’s someone else who could be proven guilty.

A small but cryptic spoiler for this week’s episodes reveal someone is acting suspiciously. Not only that, but detective Lisa Swain is convinced the person in question is hiding something.

Kit Green is sure Gary is the culprit after some deleted evidence left fans baffled. But it’s something else later in the week that really seals him as prime suspect for both Kit and Lisa.

It isn’t Gary though who is teased as the killer in a cryptic spoiler. In fact, it’s Todd Grimshaw who leaves Lisa wondering if he has a guilty secret he’s guarding.

This week, Todd is in the Rovers when he casts a dagger at Kit and Lisa amid their investigations. Following some tough questioning and George Shuttleworth’s recent arrest, it’s no wonder Todd is not happy.

Lisa is sure there is more to it though, interpreting his animosity with them as guilt. So does this subtle clue reveal Todd is Theo’s killer, and is Lisa close to the truth?

After all he’s been named a suspect but he hasn’t fully been accused yet. Other suspects have had questions, with other questioning on the way too.

But could it be Todd all along? Spoilers want us to think it’s Gary, so fans will no doubt suspect this is a major red herring at play.

He’s not helping matters though, as his alibi is proven fake by Lisa and Kit who agree it doesn’t stack up. The police soon start gathering potential evidence as they head to the builders yard.

This includes some scaffolding poles, so could this have been the murder weapon and does it tease the killer’s identity? The deleted footage also comes back into play, as Lisa and Kit appear to know it exists, but they cannot trace it.

As Lisa tells Kit that they are back to square one in their search for Theo’s killer, Kit is sure he knows who is guilty. Kit makes it clear to Gary that he’s still his number one suspect.

Then there’s Summer Spellman who is clearly spiralling. She was the last person to be shown with Theo onscreen before his death, while she’s not told anyone about their confrontation.

When scenes reveal that she’s been offered a place at an American university, Todd insists that she must accept the offer as it’ll do her good to start afresh. But is this an escape for Summer after possibly killing someone?
