Burger and shake fanatics took in Calgary’s newest fast-food restaurant on Monday morning.
Shake Shack opened a new location in Chinook Centre mall, and people were lined up as early as 4:30 a.m. to get their hands on a burger.
“We’ve got a nice traffic management plan in place, we’ve worked really closely with Shake Shack on that,” said CF Chinook Centre general manager Darren Milne.
Milne says the mall has set-up five minute parking stalls for anyone just pulling up to get take out, or for delivery drivers.
“We’re trying to make that process a little bit faster as well,” he says.
The first 100 guests on Monday were treated to a pack of cards and a tote bag.
