Tuesday could bring thunderstorms with up 15 mm possible in the Greater Toronto Area and 35 mm of rainfall in parts of southern Ontario.

The morning is expected to be sunny, followed by increased cloudiness in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.

There’s a 40 per cent chance of showers in the GTA in the afternoon, with 30 km/h winds and a high of around 14 C.

There’s a chance of more showers in the evening and a risk of thunderstorms with between 10 mm and 15 mm of rain possible in Mississauga. Up to 35 mm of rain is possible in some parts of the province, with a local peak hourly rainfall amount of 20 mm.

Winds could gust up to around 40 km/h near midnight with a low of around 5 C in Mississauga.

Looking ahead to Wednesday, conditions are expected to be cloudy with 60 per cent chance of showers during the day and a 40 per cent chance of showers in the evening in Mississauga. The high will be around 13 C, while the low is expected to be around 6 C.
