ORILLIA TENNIS CLUB

The Orillia Tennis Club is excited to be one of over 150 clubs across the country participating in Tennis Canada’s Try Tennis event.
Join us Sunday, June 7, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the West Orillia Sports Complex (Rotary Place) located at 100 University Ave., Orillia, for a free, all-ages introduction to the game.
Established in 2003, the Orillia Tennis Club offers a wide range of programs for players of all ages and skill levels. With both recreational and competitive opportunities available from May through September at Rotary Place (four courts) and Kitchener Park (two courts), the club is known as one of the most active and welcoming tennis communities in Ontario. There’s something fun happening almost every week.
Throughout June, Tennis Canada, in partnership with the Ontario Tennis Association and hundreds of local clubs, celebrates tennis as ‘the world’s healthiest sport.’ Research shows that regular tennis play can add more than 10 years to the average person’s life span — more than any other sport. The blend of physical conditioning, co-ordination, mental focus, and social interaction makes tennis a proven booster for vitality and longevity.
With over 120 enthusiastic members, the Orillia Tennis Club invites everyone to come out and experience the joy of the game. Orillia Tennis Club coach Johnny Glanville, founder of Simcoe Tennis, will lead the free instruction. Since 2007, Johnny and his team have been helping players of all ages develop their skills and love for the sport. Expect great giveaways, expert tips, and plenty of fun on the court.
