Daniel Ricciardo has revealed he could be open to a return to racing, two years after leaving Formula 1.
The Perth-born driver, 36, spent 13 years in the sport, winning eight Grands Prix across spells with Red Bull, Aston Martin and McLaren.
His final victory came at Monza in 2021, while his last year in F1 was in 2024 with Visa Cash App RB.

Since then, he has poured much of his time into promoting his new lifestyle brand, Enchante.
But Ricciardo has now hinted he could be tempted back into a racing venture should it materialise in the future.
However, he did not specify whether or not that new chapter would be back in F1.
Speaking on the Speed Street podcast, he said: “Never say never (to a return to racing). I’m really enjoying not competing where I currently sit, and just enjoying the small things in life, and not having to kind of be on a stage and all that.
“Do I know what I’ll feel in three years, five years? No. If I was to do something maybe one day, it would definitely be more from a fun aspect than, like, ‘I’m chasing some championship’ aspect.
“I don’t need to hold a trophy in something. I don’t need this for myself. Sometimes that can take the enjoyment out of racing.
“It’s a balance, because you want to have goals, and that’s obviously what gives you that purpose in the morning. To wake up and push yourself and get in the gym and all that.
“But sometimes that can also rob some of the joy. I just want to make sure if I was to ever do something again, it’s just joyful, and I don’t have to prove anything or try to be the best. I just want to have some fun with it.”
Ricciardo was hugely popular during his F1 career — and received many fans from starring as a prominent figure in Netflix’s Drive to Survive.
His best finishes in the Drivers’ Championship came in 2014 and 2016 when he came third behind Mercedes pair Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.
