Police are investigating after a man was shot in Brampton on Wednesday.
The shooting happened around 4:40 p.m. in the area of Lambeth Street and Lancewood Crescent in Brampton, Peel Regional Police say.
Officers located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds, and the man was rushed to hospital with “serious” injuries, police say.
No suspect information has been released, but police say they believe the shooting was an isolated incident.
Residents and drivers are being asked to avoid the area while police are on the scene.
