Edmonton police are asking for the public’s help to locate a suspect related to a May carjacking in Edmonton’s High Park neighbourhood.

Police received a report at roughly 1:45 p.m. on May 10 that a man with a firearm commandeered a taxi in High Park near 151 Street and 111 Avenue, police said in a Wednesday news release. The suspect was reportedly seen in St. Albert later that day.

David Nelson St. Cyr, 34, is wanted on Canada-wide warrants in connection with this incident and is charged with theft of a motor vehicle with violence. Police say St. Cyr should be considered to be armed and dangerous.
