A 15-year-old boy was stabbed Thursday outside a St-Henri school, Montreal police say.
The incident took place on St-Jacques St. near St-Ferdinand St. St-Henri Secondary School is at that intersection.
Several people called 911 around 12:10 p.m. reporting an injured person near the school, said police spokesperson Johany Charland.
The teenager “sustained injuries to his upper body, possibly caused by a sharp object,” Charland said.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening, Charland said. The teen was conscious when taken to a hospital.
No suspects were at the scene when police arrived, Charland said, and police don’t know if one or more people are responsible for the stabbing.
A perimeter has been set up at the scene. Police are investigating and have made no arrests.
