Police have charged a man from Scarborough after phone threats were made against multiple schools in Brampton.
The incidents happened between Sunday and Tuesday, when Peel Regional Police say a secondary school received “numerous threatening messages” over the phone.
But while investigating the threats, police say they discovered another secondary school and an elementary school in Brampton had also received similar calls.
Police say all of the threats were unfounded and were made by the same suspect.
On Tuesday, police say Bryan Hulme, 31, of Scarborough, was arrested and charged with three counts of public mischief, and utter threats. The accused has been released and is scheduled to make a court appearance at a later date.
