Residents of a Mississauga high-rise had to be evacuated following an early morning fire.
Reports say the fire broke out around 7 a.m. on the ninth floor of the building located on Lolita Gardens in the Dundas Street East and Cawthra Road area.
Two residents were transported to hospital, where they were treated for smoke inhalation.
Traffic through the area was diverted away from the scene until the blaze was brought under control.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined as investigators remain on the scene.
