Police say a female victim is in hospital and a suspect is outstanding following a reported hit and run in Mississauga.
Peel police said that shortly before 11:30 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near 1974 Truscott Dr., a residential street just off of Southdown Road in the city’s south end.
Police say the victim has been transported to a local hospital.

Truscott Drive is closed in both directions between Southdown Road and Everall Road, and residents are asked to avoid the area.
On X, police said this is a fail-to-remain (hit-and-run) investigation.
The suspect vehicle is described as a black Suzuki hatchback.
