The San Antonio Spurs didn’t just arrive at the Target Center for Friday night’s win-or-go-home Game 6 matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves; they made an entrance.
From cowboy-inspired looks to oversized tailoring and layered streetwear, Spurs players turned the arena tunnel into a playoff runway hours before the 8:30 p.m. tipoff in Minneapolis.
Sixth Man of the Year Keldon Johnson brought Texas flair north to Minnesota, arriving in a black cowboy hat, the Carhartt WIP S/S Deli Shirt, jeans, and brown boots. The veteran forward’s western-inspired outfit immediately stood out as players walked into the arena ahead of the elimination game.
Meanwhile, Stephon Castle kept things casual and streetwear-heavy with the “IHWT” longsleeve from Greater Days, pairing the faded graphic shirt with loose black pants and layering his personalized chains.
Veteran point guard De’Aaron Fox opted for a cleaner, minimalist look, wearing a fitted black tee tucked into pleated brown trousers with polished black loafers and a tan leather travel bag. The understated fit matched the calm demeanor Fox carried into one of the biggest games of San Antonio’s season.
Victor Wembanyama did his best Tim Duncan fashion impression. “The Alien” arrived in an oversized blue-and-white striped button-up layered over a white tee with flowing dark pants and brown shoes.
Now, Devin Vassell added another standout look to his growing collection of tunnel fits. He strolled in wearing a furred plaid jacket from Protocol Index with baggy pants, sneakers, and his light blue AirPod Pro Max headphones.
The Spurs entered Game 6 leading the series 3-2, but despite the pressure, the team arrived looking composed and dressed like a group ready to battle.
