Terraria launched over 15 years ago, and it’s been a staggering success that only continues to grow. In the decade and a half of the game’s existence, Terrarria has managed to move over 70 million copies, which is the kind of success that very few games achieve. That tally is only going to tick higher as the years roll on, and we’ve learned that the devs behind the title will continue wooing new players with future updates.

There was a time when the team behind Terraria would say that they were working on the game’s final update, only to go back on their word to release subsequent content. It seems the team has learned their lesson after backtracking a number of times, as now they’ve committed to supporting the game with more fun to come.

In a post thanking fans for their support, developer Re-Logic has said that crossplay is in the works, while also saying that updates will continue beyond that. As far as what’s in store, Re-Logic isn’t ready to pull the curtain back just yet, but they did say that “the world of Terraria remains and will remain vibrant and alive” for as long as we the team has anything to say about it/
